Shawn M. Dubuc
Shawn’s practice focuses on corporate commercial law with an emphasis on commercial transactions and corporate reorganizations. Shawn has extensive experience drafting and negotiating a wide range of business agreements, including unanimous shareholders agreements, services agreements and commercial leases. Shawn also handles a variety of employment matters for our corporate clients.
As part of Shawn’s corporate commercial practice, he represents several Inuit economic development corporations and various private business corporations and not-for-profit organizations.
Shawn completed his bachelor of applied science in civil engineering from Queen’s University in 2003, with a 16-month professional internship at structural engineering consulting firm in Toronto. Shawn obtained his law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2007, where he graduated cum laude. Shawn was called to the Ontario bar in 2008 and the Nunavut bar in 2012. Prior to joining Dubuc-Osland, Shawn articled at a national law firm in Ottawa.
In his free time, Shawn enjoys hockey and spending time with his wife and three children.
